This forum is a good place to find out general information about immigration guidelines for partner migration leveraging on same-sex interdependent relationship. Please note that GLITFSA is restricted by legislation NOT to provide definitive advice and consultation.
At this general meeting, we offer narratives of our own experiences that could act as a framework for your eventual application. Effectively thus, we help you to help yourself. The Handbook provides a very good guidance, in addition to DIAC's "Partner Migration" Booklet, it is very important that you read them thoroughly.

MIGRATION ADVISER
The dedicated meeting with the pro-bono migration adviser is coordinated through the GLITFSA Secretary and is held in the offices of the migration adviser. Requests to see the pro-bono Agent should be made to GLITFSA Secretary no later than one week prior to the next meeting.
If you are a member of GLITFSA and living overseas or living too far outside the metropolitan area which makes it impossible for you to attend the offices of the adviser, and you have an urgent problem, you can email to us explaining the situation.
We will forward your queries on to our migration agent for consideration. Please do understand that unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will receive prompt advice; as that is dependent on the workload of our pro-bono migration adviser.
For members they can meet our pro-bono migration adviser on a one-on-one basis. For this dedicated session to be fruitful, it is recommended that the member think through and research all their options and prepare a list of questions to ask the adviser. If the member's application is already at an advanced stage ready for submission to DIAC, the whole package should be put in front of the pro-bono agent for his/her review
